Description

Would you like to feel inspired?
Full of ideas?
Confident to get started?
Not worried about mistakes?

Would you like a place where you feel free to experiment, have fun and play with visual creativity? There is such a place – a sketchbook!

It’s easy to get stuck in a rut, feel uninspired and lose motivation to create. A sketchbook practice is a great way to stoke the creative fires without the pressure of trying to make something that looks “good.”  It’s a place to experiment with supplies and techniques freely. A place where it’s ok to make mistakes.

This workshop is all about finding inspiration and ideas while having fun being creative.  Learn how to use a sketchbook practice to tap into the imagination, observe what you see, hone techniques, develop color palettes and so much more.  Participants will try different creative exercises using a variety of styles and mediums. Leave feeling empowered to explore your creativity and experiment with your art-making.

Participants will need to bring a sketchbook, preferably one that can handle wet media. (We recommend Canson XL Mixed Media sketchbooks.) All other supplies are included.

$50.00 per person. Ages 18+
