Adult Art Club | 3rd Sunday of the month, February-May 2023 | 1-3pm | $120.00
Do you enjoy making art but have difficulty finding the time? Would you like to learn different art-making techniques in a fun and casual setting? Do you want a small commitment that will be easy to fit into your schedule? Then Adult Art Club at Purple Dog is for you! Adult Art Club meets once a month on Sundays starting February 2023 through May 2023. Each month we will do a different project. All supplies are included. These classes will be open to the public for $35.00 per class. Members save $5.00 per class.
Cost is $120.00 per person. Ages 18+.

Meeting Schedule:
February 19th, 1-3pm: Jim Dine-style oil pastel hearts on patterned backgrounds
March 19th, 1-3pm: Geode paintings in watercolor and acrylics
April 30th, 1-3pm: Tempera enameling project. Enameling is an ancient art in which glass is fused to metal by firing. Relatively new “cold” techniques use glossy paint or epoxy resin on metal to simulate fused enamel. In this class, we will use an easy method to mimic the “cold” technique by embossing a design into soft tooling metal, then filling the cells with tempera paint.
May 21st, 1-3pm: Acrylic painting using foam block printmaking technique
Don’t want to do a particular project? No problem! Come in and work independently on a project of your choice, using the studio’s supplies and receiving guidance from the instructor.
Missed Class Policy:
Purple Dog Art Studio will not issue refunds or credits for missed classes.
Rescheduling and Make-Up Classes:
If Purple Dog Art Studio must reschedule a class, then a class will be added at the end of the session. If a student misses a regularly scheduled class, the class cannot be made up and the class will not be prorated.
